SETÁREH FAQ’S

How can I remove it?

To ensure the safe removal of your tooth gem, it is recommended to visit a dentist. Please contact your local dentists to schedule an appointment. The procedure for removal is similar to that of orthodontic brackets, and it is a painless and straightforward process. The gem or charm is gently popped off, and any remaining bonding material is polished from the tooth. Any further questions click here.

How Long Will it Last?

Longevity of our tooth gems varies depending on the type. Swarovski Crystals and Preciosa Crystals typically last from 6 months to 24 months, while 18k Gold Charms can last for years with proper care. With extra attention and maintenance, they may even last longer. At SETAREH, we offer a one-month warranty for all tooth gems.

Can I get a tooth gem if I wear retainer/night guard?

If you wear metal retainers or a mouth guard, please bring them to your appointment. We can work around them and apply tooth gems. However, if you have plastic retainers, we are unable to bond the gems directly onto them. Nonetheless, we can still apply gems over your plastic retainers to add a removable touch of bling.

Can I get a tooth gem if I have veneers?

We are only able to bond tooth gems onto natural tooth tissue. Therefore, if you have veneers, tooth gems cannot be applied.

Will a tooth gem damage my teeth?

When you choose us as your technician and maintain your oral hygiene routine, tooth gems will not compromise your oral health in any way. We employ safe techniques, use reliable products, and possess extensive experience. However, it is essential to note that we do not take responsibility for the aftercare of the gems. It is crucial to maintain impeccable oral hygiene and visit your dentist every six months. Neglecting oral hygiene can lead to plaque build-up around the tooth gems, potentially causing gum disease and decay.
